genuinely insanely helpful. you can import subtitles on shows they dont have. even just having that feature alone is worth using but with the built in dictionary. like I honestly don't know why they don't charge for this it has helped my immersion so much. and I haven't found any noticeable bugs or issues at all.
I'm learning Japanese thanks to this extension, it is one of the best if not the best app for Japanese learning. Crunchyroll lacks Japanese so this extension will save your day.
